Open Circle of Heritage Park is honored to be part of the first public housing community in the country to offer housing and services to older adults with low incomes.
Open Circle of Heritage Park is part of the Cora McCorvey Health and Wellness Center, developed by the Minneapolis Public Housing Authority (MPHA). The campus gathers the services needed most by older people under one roof. Partners include the MPHA, Pro Rehab, Grace Hospice, Alive N Kickin’, North Point Clinic, and the Minneapolis Highrise Representative Council.

"My Mom loves going to Open Circle and I love having a wonderful place for her to go. She has learned new things, made friends and is living her best life. Her memory scores have improved since starting and are now stable. This is due to the kindness and care of the staff and all the wonderful activities members are engaged in. She has taken a jewelry making class, a photography class and sings in the choir. Since starting several years ago, her life is so much more vibrant and fulfilling."

Finance sources such as Alternative Care (AC), Elderly Waiver (EW), long term care insurance, Community Access for Disability Inclusion (CADI) Waiver, Veterans benefits and others may be available for qualified individuals.
The nurturing environment at Open Circle of Heritage Park encourages friendships and involvement through a wide variety of fun and interesting activities. Our program provides meaningful, purpose-filled opportunities to help our members remain vital contributors to the larger community.
